What does boat racing bring to our community?  The land of 10,000 lakes (as Minnesota is commonly known) has a rich history of boat building.   And when people build boats, they need to know which ones are faster!   Boat racing has been a part of the Minnesota and American culture since the 1800’s.   The American Power Boat Association (APBA) was formed in 1904 to be the governing body for all forms of powered boat racing across North America.   Powerboat racing in Minnesota is a legacy sport involving entire families for generations.   No matter if you are a boating, fishing, or racing enthusiast, you will enjoy the spectacle of thrills and spills from experiencing best of high-performance boats from around North America.

What are the Nationals?  The "Nationals” is a once a year event where over 100 of the best outboard power boat racers from all corners of the United States and Canada will compete for the coveted APBA (American Power Boat Association) National Championship.
